liveBooks, Inc. created DIY websites, primarily for visually creative professionals and photographers. Once a leader in their industry, in 2012 its best days were clearly behind them. I was brought in as marketing & creative director to help position the company for a buyout.
I reinvigorated their brand with a website overhaul, a brand ambassador program, and oversaw the acquisition of Pinhole Pro, which added a print-on-demand element that sweetened monthly subscription values. Additional achievements included a self-published ebook, which generated over 20,000 leads, and a successful event and PR strategy.
The end result was a successful sale of the company to Wedding Wire in July, 2013.
