liveBooks, Inc. creates DIY websites, primarily for visually creative professionals and photographers who are better at marketing others than they are at marketing themselves. Once a leader in their industry, in 2012 its best days appeared to be behind them. I was brought in as marketing & creative director to help save the company.
I reinvigorate their brand with a website overhaul, a brand ambassador program, and oversaw the acquisition of Pinhole Pro, which added a print-on-demand element that sweetened monthly subscription values. Additional achievements included a self-published ebook, which at last count had generated over 20,000 leads, and a successful event and PR strategy. The result was a successful sale of the company to Wedding Wire in July, 2013.
